I started at Christopher Barrie hair studio in December 2006. I am a Salon Junior so I work on Saturdays and in the school holidays. My job is to help the stylists and to keep the salon in order.
I wanted to work in Christopher Barrie hair studio because my sister Nadia works here. She is a nail technician. Nadia was always coming home with stories from the salon, making me realise what a fun and busy salon Christopher Barrie is. That was the kind of salon I wanted to work in, a fun but professional busy salon, with a lovely atmosphere.
The best part of my job is taking of and meeting new and regular clients. I also enjoy coming work and catching up with my friends here while we get ourselves and the salon ready for the first clients of the day.
I feel really proud when a client I know personally from outside work. They see the salon I work in and the team I work with and always pass lovely comments afterwards. Most of all I love that even though this is a busy 5 star salon, the girls I work with always have time for a laugh and joke with me.
